"Simple Pleasures," a watercolor by Ann Christensen, is among work that will be shown in the annual Berkshire Art Association's painting and sculpture competition, which opens Sept. 24 at the Berkshire Museum. Moving south to Pittsfield, works by more contemporary artists are slated
for the fall, such as the annual Berkshire Art Association's painting and sculpture
competition which opens Sept. 24 and continues through Oct. 30 at the Berkshire
Museum. Klaus Kertess, adjunct curator of drawing at the Whitney Museum in New
York, made the selections this year, choosing 18 artists from New York and New
England for inclusion. |
